Camp Nou RENAMED to Spotify Camp Nou

A new sponsorship deal between FC Barcelona and streaming giant Spotify worth up to €280m has been agreed.  The Camp Nou had never suffered a name change. A place that has so much history today, added a new word to its name.  With the Spotify deal, the club will finally get the income they need in order to attempt the transfers they want next summer.  According to RAC1 , FC Barcelona's new official name will be Spotify Camp Nou pending official announcement by both parties. The €280m will be divided between three seasons in equal parts (60m each). If the deal is finalized, the agreement is that both the men and women's football teams will sport the streaming service's logo in the front. Plus, the deal was to get the stadium's naming right.

Following a stellar season where he scored 10 goals and provided 21 assists. He made his debut for Barcelona as a second half subsitute at the Camp Nou assisting Luis Suarez for his teams fifth of the night versus Espanyol. In his next game and first start for Barca away to Getafe he injured his hamstring and was ruled out for four months. He was given the medical green light on 2 January 2018 to return to action.
