Real Sociedad are interested in signing highly rated Jose Arnaiz, who
they want to bring in to reinforce their
forward line.
The Basque Club are reportedly hoping the Catalans lower their €12m asking price.
Real Sociedad face competition from
Getafe, Valladolid and Girona for the
player.
There is no way though that Sociedad
would pay 12 million, the same amount that they have splashed out on Mikel Merino, who had played for Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle in the past.
"At the moment we have no negotiations ongoing with any player," said Real president Jokin Aperribay, to show the state of play.
Real have also pointed to the groin injury that Arnaiz had at the end of last season to try and get a lower figure.
