Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir (41 years old) will officiate the Champions League round of 16 clash between Chelsea and FC Barcelona in London.
Cuneyt Cakir previously officiated the Champions League clash during the
2011/12 campaign at the Camp Nou between Barcelona and Chelsea which ended in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea, where he sent off John Terry. The result meant the Catalans were eliminated because of a first leg loss.
Since then he has officiated Barcelona 5 times, with the Catalans drawing once and winning all the remaining 4 including a 3-1 win over Juventus in the 2015 Champions League final.
